Rolls of Parchment - Guild Wars Forums

I really did not want to start this thread but I am at a loss. In the last BWE artifacts salvaged rolls of parchment using the expert salvage kit. However this 27th and 28th it appears that artifacts no longer give up rolls of parchment. I do not know if there is a lower % in getting the parchment or if a differant item gives them up. A guildmate used an expert kit on 7 artifacts and 4 scrolls and all they gave were cloth. Any info would be greatly appreciative.

Look for Daved outside of the Sardelac Sanitarium. Give him some (5?) wood planks and ?20? gp and you get a roll of parchment.

Is this really the only way to get parchment now?
I've checked some other sites and I am trying to confirm it.

I've found David... I've got the gold... but where do you get wood planks?

Just about anything gives wooden planks

I know I get alot from bows I salvage and shields. Which in pre searing is quite a bit--also staffs possibly?

Any salvage item list that are out there most and likely haven???t been updated, and like the /emotion list I posted on the forum I am in the process of updating those. So some things may have changed.
